Alleged indecent exposure

A WOMAN allegedly exposed her buttocks before using profane language towards police in Kerang last week.

Police state the accused pulled her pants down at officers who were patrolling Hawthorne Court about 5pm on February 1.

She then gestured to police with her middle finger. When questioned she gave a false name on numerous times and used indecent language.

The woman was expected to receive a summons to attend court at a later date.

Theft investigation

A TEENAGER has been questioned and released after the alleged theft of a vehicle in Cohuna.

Police said the vehicle was stolen from the side of the Murray Valley Highway at Cohuna after breaking down late last month.

The vehicle was involved in an incident in the Echuca area and later located at an address on the outskirts of Cohuna.

A 19-year-old male was interviewed in relation to the theft as well as ammunition offences, and released pending further enquiries.

Fight probe

KERANG police have sought witnesses to an altercation involving a group of men at the town’s railway station.

It happened on February 8 shortly after 10pm.

It’s unclear how many people were involved or if they were known to each other.

Witnesses are urged to call Kerang police on 5452 1955.
