Vehicles targeted

OFFENDERS attempted to break into two vehicles at a Cohuna address earlier this month.

The door lock barrel and side window were smashed on one of the vehicles, parked in Channel Street on March 7.

The offenders then tried to gain entry to a second vehicle but failed.

Police have forensically searched the vehicle and the area for further evidence.

Sour taste

TWO teenagers will face court after stealing spirits from a Cohuna bottle shop.

The male and female entered the King George Street store on February 26 and selected a bottle each of Sour Puss and walked out before paying.

The store owner reported the incident to police. The pair have been identified.

Truck entry

SEVERAL trucks were forced open at a commercial site in Kerang earlier this month.

Police said the offenders tried to open the gate at the Tate Drive site before they scaled a fence and gained entry to several trucks.

It’s unknown if any property was stolen.

Crime scene investigators examined the scene and located “crucial” evidence.
