A MAN threatened to burn down a Kerang business last month.
Two males who own adjoining businesses were talking at the rear of a Muir Avenue business on April 30.
A short time later a male approached them, holding a small can of paint thinners and a lighter.
Police said this male was making threats against one of the owners and said he would be back to burn his business down.
The male offender flicked paint thinners towards the two males and worked the lighter in a threatening manner.
Police were called and the male walked off.
He was later arrested by police.
Trailer stolen
A TRAILER was stolen from a Cohuna property last month.
Police said offenders took the black tandem trailer from a private laneway on Market Street on April 29.
A diesel generator was fixed into the trailer, with a total value of $10,000.
Tools taken
POWER tools were stolen from a Cohuna address this month.
Police said offenders accessed a steel toolbox on the rear of a ute in Sampson Street, some time between May 1 and 2.
Several power tools and attachments were stolen together with a pair of welding gloves.
