EFFORTS to connect Kerang to the State’s natural gas network will resume this month.
Works to install a reticulated network throughout the town stopped late last year following the discovery of a manufacturing fault in the equipment that allows natural gas to be supplied into the distribution network.
It is anticipated the replacement station – to be based at Tate Drive – will arrive in the next few weeks, with connections to local properties to begin in July.
Meanwhile, the installation of a pipe connecting the network north and west of the Kerang-Swan Hill railway line will occur in the coming months.
