The Bombers hold a two-win advantage over Colbinabbin and White Hills, but trail North Bendigo – which has the bye this weekend – by the same margin.

Fifth-placed Huntly gave the Bulldogs the toughest challenge the two-time defending premiers have faced so far this season, with the competition leaders prevailing by 14 points.

The Grasshoppers defeated Mount Pleasant by 132 points – who are now ninth following Lockington Bamawm United’s two-point win against Elmore.

White Hills remains fourth following a 66-point win against Heathcote.

The Bombers take on the Blues this weekend, with the Grasshoppers hosting Elmore, the Cats taking on Heathcote and White Hills to battle with the Hawks.
