Energetically pushing ahead

A GROUP of local children have put their driving and teamwork skills to the test.

The nine-member Kerang Primary School team, dubbed the Kerang Karters, took part in the RACV Energy Breakthrough at Maryborough during the weekend.

The grade four, five and six students have spent the past month preparing for the three-day event, which attracts schools from throughout Victoria.

The team tested its skills during three sections – obstacle course, long-distance and sprinting.

“We did it last year and it was really, really fun,” team member, Abbigail Caldwell said.
