Finals time

BARHAM Services will host tomorrow’s Northern District Bowls Division midweek pennant semi-finals, with the top four confirmed following the final round of the home and away season last Wednesday.

Pyramid Hill claimed the Division One minor premiership following a three-rink win against defending premiers, Cohuna, as well as Kerang having the bye.

Kerang Golf confirmed its first top-flight finals appearance following a two-rink win against Barham Services, whilst Cohuna Golf claimed fourth spot on the ladder despite losing to Barham Sports.

The results mean Pyramid Hill and Kerang will meet in the second semi-final for a spot in February 21’s grand final, with the loser of tomorrow’s match to play the winner of the first semi-final between Kerang Golf and Cohuna Golf on February 14.

In Division Two, Kerang booked its spot in a first semi-final against Cohuna Golf following a win against Barham Services.

The winner of the first semi-final will play the loser of tomorrow’s second semi-final between minor premiers, Leitchville and Cohuna in February 14’s preliminary final.
