Across the greens – Cohuna

Cohuna

IT seems everyone is keen to continue Tuesday social bowls while the weather is still fine.

Winners this week were Bob, Barb, Marian and Ros. Well done team the only two-game winners.

Bryan Main presented a final statement to the board from the autumn tournament. What a fantastic result. It was a lot of hard work but well worth the effort. Congratulations to Bryan and his workers for an extremely well run tournament – nothing but good reports from all the visitors.

Time to start getting ready for next year.

Third place winners at the Leitchville Pie and Soup on Thursday were Rhonda, Rodney and Marian.

Marian is popping up in the winners’ circle a lot lately. All that practice is coming to fruition.

Saturday was our first Social Saturday for the season. Although the weather spoilt the day we were able to complete one game before the rain. Winners were Nigel, Keith, Richard and Marian.

This is the last call for the presentation night on April 22. Don’t miss a good night. Names should go on the clubhouse list.

Nominations are moving slowly. Don’t sit back, if you are interested in a position, please ask for someone to sign a form.

There are still a few club matches to be played. All should be completed before the presentation night.

The pie and soup event is at Cohuna this week. Get your names in with Keith if you are interested in playing.

Lots of tournaments are in the book – check it out
