NUMBERS down a little on Tuesday as the Pennant teams playing in Moama were practicing at 4pm.
Still 18 players was pretty good. Winners on the day were Peter Coates (s) Jeff G and Ros. Well done team.
Presentation went off with a bang on Saturday night. A lovely meal provided by the Bunyips and fine entertainment by “honest Ken”. He tells me he lost his voice, however no complaints were heard.
All winners throughout the year were presented by president Bill and MC Peter. Not taking anything away from the winners but one highlight on the night was the presentation to the club of a signed and mounted club shirt. This was organized by Steve. Top job Steve a great way to celebrate 43 years between wins for Division 1 Saturday.
Saturday and Sunday our Club represented NDPA in the State Finals at Moama. Although not in the winning group they acquitted themselves very well. Congratulations to all players.

Kerang Golf
AS bowls continues through the “off-season”, the major events are now our regular social bowls on Thursdays and Sundays.
On Sunday, April 30, there were 21 bowlers who enjoyed the sunny conditions, split in to triples and fours.
After the regulatory two games, the trio of Marlene Orr, Kevin Chase and Carol Pay were the only undefeated team and therefore winners of the major prize. The runners-up were Judy McKerrow, Marlene Rawson and Lorraine Douglass, with a win and a loss and four shots up.
The encouragement award went to Bryce McLeish, John Duckworth, Stuart Robinson and Lorraine Ritchie.
Our Thursday bowls was played in the sunshine as well, with 17 members and visitors enjoying their time on the greens. It was great to see Dave Wood having his first game.
There were two combinations who won both games, with the Jim McLeish, Trevor Burmeister and Bryce McLeish team winning their games by 20 shots and getting the major prize. The pairing of Frank Ritchie and Sonia McLeish, who won by 14 shots had to settle for the runners-up prize.
Encouragement chocolates to Howard McClelland, Marlene Rawson and Neil Paul.
A small group played in the cooler conditions on Sunday, with Judy McKerrow, Bryce McLeish and Howard McClelland coming out the winners after three games of six ends. The runners-up were Trevor Linton and John Murphy, with the “chocolates” going to the Stuart “Blocker” Robinson led team of Allison Medson and Craig Hicks.
We were represented at the Pyramid Hill Tournament by some of our leading bowlers, but no excitement from anyone, which must tell us they were not successful.
A reminder to all members that social bowls is on Thursdays and Sundays, with registration at 12.45pm for a 1pm start – see you there.
Leitchville
THE autumn pie and soup combined club’s A/C two-bowl triples was played at Leitchville with 18 teams.
Winners were Mick Hoffman, Rob Wilson and Gay Parr (Cohuna), runners-up Peter Bibby, Rhonda Bibby and Gwen Campbell (Cohuna Golf) and third Jon Henty, Des Easton and Alan Holmes (Cohuna Golf).
Thanks to the sponsor. The next autumn pie and soup event is at Cohuna.
Annual general meeting will be held Tuesday next week at 7pm.
