Teasdales take mixed pair

ON a balmy evening last week, Kevin and Gayle Teasdale won the Kerang Bowling Club Mixed Pairs event with Adrian Bates and Som Pascoe being runners-up.

Sunday saw the Northern District Champion of Champions decided on excellent greens at the Kerang Bowling Club. Leitchville’s Roma Opie took out the Ladies Championship for the eighth time, defeating Pascoe. And Brodie Harker from Barham won his third title defeating Wakool’s Guy Treweek.

Excellent bowling is assured when the Northern District Grand Finals of Divisions 1, 2 and 3 are finalised on Saturday at Kerang Bowling Club. This will be followed by the inaugural Grand Final of the newly formed Northern Valley Bowls Competition to be played at Cohuna Bowling Club when Kerang meets Cohuna Golf on Sunday afternoon.
