THE Northern District Cricket Association will kick off its 2022/2023 Senior season on October 15 and the junior competition will follow the next Saturday, October 22.
The seniors will play one day games with the Swan Hill Pool & Spa T20 series in the middle of the season either side of the Christmas break.
The Under 13s will go back to playing two-day games.
In the 2021/2022 season, Murrabit made a spectacular return to local cricket by winning all three premierships, the senior 40-over comp, the T20 cup and the Under 13s.
It will be up to the other sides of Barham, Koondrook and Kerang to up the tempo in the seniors and also Boort Yando in the juniors.
