The weather really turned it on for the R&R crew last Thursday. A big thanks to all those that helped with the pre-round barbecue, which obviously fuelled big Dom Baxter, who came in with 39 points if you don’t mind.
Bruce Bord did well with 36, to be followed by Brenton Smyth with 34. NTP’s went to Kevin Crane on 2, Geoff Hall on 8 and big Dom on 11 and 17.
The fine weather continued on Saturday where Don Magick fashioned 40 fine points to take the sponsor’s prize. Ron Farrant scored a solid 39 from Allan Walkington and Joel Woolhouse with 36.
NTPs went to Bruce Bird on 2, Geoff Hall who is making the 8th his own, Ron Farrant on 11 and Allan Walkington on 17.
Sunday was the first round of the men’s club championship. First round A grade leaders are Scott Beattie (75), Kevin Crane (76) Dom Baxter and Paul Robinson (77).
For the B Grade, Rhys Bradley and Peter Doyle (72), Darren Barry (73) and Geoff Miller (74).
For the C Grade, Mark Bishop (74), Greg Roberts (75), Hayden Bird and Doug Peace (76). It was also Monthly Medal which was taken out by Rhys Bradley with Mark Bishop second.
NTPs went to Owen McLoughlan on 2, Ron Thompson on 8, Dennis Griffiths on 11 and Rob Wilson on 17.
Sunday’s ladies winner was Joy Johnson with 35 from Sandra Griffiths and Lois Stone with 32. NTPs went to Joy Johnson on 2 and Margaret Winship on 8.

DUE to the very wet conditions, there was no ladies Wednesday comp this week.
In Thursday’s R & R Stableford, with the drying conditions 27 members and a visitor from Berriwillock took up the challenge of a wet course.
The best player on the day was Shane Dibsdale with 37 points.
Ball pool was Chris Waterson 35, Gav Teasadale 34, Casey Gillen 33 and Barry Gladman 32.
NTPs went to Greg Gin on the 3rd and 9th, Shane Dibsdale 5th, R Thouliss 13th and C Waterson 16th.
