Wednesday Ladies Stableford, August 23.

Another fine day for the Ladies, on Chino’s Day. The day’s winner was Angela Morton with 32 points. In the ball pool were Chrissy Downs 31, Joyce Boyd 31 c/b. NTP on the 9th went to Jan Harry.

Thursday R & R Stableford, August 24.

With the good weather more golfers are having a round or two, with 23 entering the competition. Col Wilkie came out on top with 38 points on a c/b from Malcolm Kennedy. Ball pool: M Kennedy 38, G Wyte & W O’Neill 33 and Ron Schultze 32. NTP: P Lloyd 9th, C Wilkie 13th. All the others remained unclaimed.

Saturday Stableford, August 26.

A good field with 24 entrants. The winner was Graham Wyte with 38 points. Ball pool: Peter Jones and Tony Hall with 37 each, Terry Turvey and D Wood on 36 on c/b.

NTP: C Wilkie 3rd, R Schultze 5th, K Lane 9th, Superpin 13th J Harry, J Pay 16th.
