WEDNESDAY ladies Stableford last week had 11 entries and the day’s winner was Nola Robinson with 37 points.

Ball pool went to S. Jenner 32, Deanne Free 31.

Again good golfing weather brought a sizable field for Thursday’s R&R, producing a good win for Gavin Teasdale with 40 points.

Ball pool went to W. O’Neill 39, S. Dibsdale, B. Gladman and T. Laughlin – all on 35.

NTP went to L. Hadfield 3rd, T. Turvey 5th, G. Teasdale 9th and 16th and 13th to C. Wilkie.

Great day for golf and everybody had a good day at the four-person Ambrose on Friday. The winning team was C. and J. Waterson, T. and S. Hall with 56.5.

Runners-up were Ange Giouzellis, B. Gibson, M. Heavyside and Mr Heavyside Snr. NAGA award went to team Knight.

NTP 3rd Bev Kelly, 5th K. McKissack, 9th K. O’Connell, 13th R. Schultze and 16th B. Gibson.

Nearest the line ladies: G. Kennedy. Men: T. Hall.

Longest drive ladies: J. Waterson. Men: C. Manners.

A very strong field of golfers for this prestigious gold watch event on Sunday, held on a great day. The winning pair was Ron Schultze and Col Wilkie with 43 points.

Runners-up were Nick King and J. Hewitt with 42 on a countback from two other pairs.
