Rain no deterrent

Kerang

WITH a very cold overcast day, three ladies ventured out and came back on Wednesday, with the winner being Angela Morton with 32 points.

Jan Milne scored 26 and Rosie Laughlin scored 25. Angela won the Chino’s NTP.

Light rain welcomed some golfers to the course for Thursday R&R Stableford, with the threat of more rain during the afternoon.

Ten members and a guest set forth and it did rain for most of the round, so congratulations to those who finished.

David Knight did it again, winning with 24 points from Ron Delamare on 19 and Kevin Chase on 18.

A strong field of 26 men and nine women challenged the course in Saturday Stableford.

The best for the men was captain Jack, scoring 35 points, which was the same score for the women’s winner, Shirley Jenner.

The ball pool went to L. Hadfield, J. Pay and R. Nesbitt all on 34, C. Waterson on 32, and D. Wood and G. Service who both scored 31.

NTP went to S. Jenner on the 3rd, J. Hewitt on the 5th, P. Lloyd on the 9th, T. Hall on the 13th and L. Hadfield on the 16th.
