Ladies Stableford – Wednesday, September 11

Our ladies ventured out on a great day for golf, with Jenny Waterson having the best score of 36 points for the day ahead of Rhonda Willoughby with 35 points and Rosie Laughlin with 34 points on a countback. The nearest the pins were won by C. Dear (3rd) and S. Jenner (9th).

R & R Stableford – Thursday, September 12

A good turn out of 33 players on what was a very cold, windy day saw Wayne O’Neill come in with a great score of 40 points.

The ball pool went to G. Service (37), G. Pay and D. Knight (33), M. Wilson and R. Gannon (32) while the nearest the pins were won by A. Spitty (3rd), D. Ellwood (5th), T. Hall (9th) and G. Service (13th), while the 16th went begging.

Greenwood Mugge – Saturday, September 14

A good sized field took part in the monthly Greenwood Mugge Stableford event, with Wayne O’Neill the winner of the Mugge with a score of 38 points.

The ladies winner of the goblet was (as predicted in last week’s notes) Michelle Dillon with 32 points.

The ball pool went to C. Manners (35), B. Gibson, P. Lloyd, C. Gray, D. Wood, G. Service and R. Gannon (33), while the nearest the pins went to G. Gin (3rd), G. Service (9th), D. Wood (13th) and G. Pay (16th).

Upcoming events are our Visual Appeal Day 4P Ambrose on Friday, September 27, our Gold Watch 4BBB on Sunday, October 6, and our championships start for the ladies on Wednesday, October 9, and for the men on Saturday, October 12.
