Ladies Stableford – Wednesday, May 28

ON a great late autumn day, 14 ladies contested the day’s event, with the winner being Michelle Dillon (11) with 35 points.

Others in the ball pool were Michelle Baker (24), Jan Harry (10) and Rosie Laughlin all on 33 points, with Jan also claiming the Chino’s nearest the pin and Michelle winning the putting competition.

R & R Stableford – Thursday, May 29

THURSDAY golf has continued to attract members consistently with over 20 members each week.

This week’s winner was Wayne O’Neill (20) who scored 36 points, while others in the ball pool were Gavin Teasdale with 36 points and Kevin Sambrooks, Tony Laughlin and Tony Hall all on 33 points.

The nearest the pins went to G.Teasdale on the 3rd and 5th holes, C.Gillen on the 9th hole, T.Hall the 13th hole and D.Meehan on the 16th hole.

Ladies Autumn 4BBB Tournament – Friday, May 30

IT was a great turnout for this annual event, with visitors from Boort, Cohuna, CluBarham and Lakeside Golf Clubs.

A total of 28 pairs contested the event, with the winners being Michelle Baker and Angela Gouzellis with 46 points.

The runners-up were Joyce Boyd and Jill Marshall with 45 points on a countback ahead of Jan Harry and Rowena Henry, also with 45 points.

Jan and Rowena headed the ball pool, along with Deaniee Henderson and Jean Youl on 44 points, who also qualified via a countback.

The nearest the pins were won by Shirley Jenner (3rd hole), Bronwyn Goode (5th hole), Maxine Power (9th hole), Mandy Male (13th hole) and Linda Moloney (16th hole), while the pen award went to the pair of Gayle Simm and Phyllis Baker with 31 points.

It was reported that all the ladies had a fabulous day out, with many thanks to our sponsor Wishart’s Jewellers.

Stableford – Saturday, May 31

TWENTY-four members and guests played on Saturday, with the winner of the ladies event being Shirley Jenner with 38 points, while the men’s winner was Brendan Shields with 40 points.

Others in the ball pool were C.Manners with 35 points, C.Wilkie with 34 points, R.Pay with 33 points and C.Waterson with 31 points.

The winners of the captains super six were B.Shields and C.Wilkie with 62 points, while the nearest the pin’s went to B.Shields on the 3rd and 9th holes, T.Hall on the 13th hole and J.Pay on the 16th hole.
