Ladies Monthly Medal – Wednesday, June 4

Fourteen ladies played a stroke event for the monthly medal, with the winner Rowena Henery with 109-42=67.

The ball pool went to Crissy Downs with (94-26=68), Meagan Taylor (85-16=68) and Shirley Jenner (88-19=68), while Shirley also won the nearest the pin on Chino’s ninth hole.

R & R Stableford – Thursday, June 5

Twenty six members and guests entered the competition on Thursday in very cool and windy conditions, with Ron Delamare coming out as the winner with 38 points, ahead of Kevin Lane, also on 38 points.

Others in the ball pool were Chris Waterson with 37 points and Wayne O’Neill and Greg McNeil with 35 points in a countback.

The nearest the pins went to B. Shay (3rd and 5th holes), C. Waterson (9th hole) and T. Laughlin (13th hole).

The pen award went to J. Youl.

Monthly Medal – Saturday, June 7

The forecast was for rain – and it did just that.

Twenty seven members entered the stroke event and only 18 completed their round, with Jenny Waterson ending the day as the ladies winner with 83-15=68, while for the men, Ray Gannon was the medal winner with 96-27=69.

The ball pool went to C. Waterson (73-2=71), J. Murphy (98-27=71), D. Wood (82-10=72), B. Shields (83-6=77), L. Hogg (85-17=78) and G. McNeil (99-20=79).

The nearest the pins were hard to get, with C. Waterson finishing closest on the 3rd and 9th holes, while J. Hewitt won the 13th hole.
