THERE were some patches of sunshine during play today, with the 25 players who started the day enjoying those moments.

The day’s winner was Luke Hadfield with 38 points, with T. Laughlin, B. Shields, M. Loats (Murray Downs) and R. Fabry all following with 34 points.

F. Cianci won the pen award, while the nearest the pins went to D. Smith (Murray Downs) on the 3rd and 5th holes, L. Hadfield on the 9th hole, K. Lane on the 13th hole and P. Lloyd on the 16th hole.

Saturday, June 28

TWENTY five members and guests turned up to play on Saturday, with the ladies winner Louise Mudgeway (36) and the men’s winner David Wood (38).

The ball pool went to J. Pay, J. Murphy, J. Apostolelis, T. Hall (37), C. Manners and T. Laughlin (34).

The nearest the pins were won by C. Waterson (3rd hole), G. Brierley (5th hole), L .Mudgeway (9th hole) and D. Wood (13th hole).
