Ladies Stableford – Wednesday, July 23

A SMALL field this week after some much needed rain (about 10mm), with the winner on the day Joyce Boyd with 33 points in front of Rosie Laughlin (31 points), Meryl Cameron, Rowena Henry and Michelle Dillon (all 28 points).

The Chino’s nearest the pin was won by Shirley Jenner.

R & R Stableford – Thursday, July 24

THE sun was out, but it was cold day on Thursday, with 29 members trying to tame the course, with Kevin Lane finishing with 40 points to win the day.

The ball pool went to Tony Hall (36 points), Luke Hadfield, Allan Free and Tony Laughlin (all 35 points).

Nearest the pins went to L. Hogg (3rd hole), J. Hewitt (5th hole), T. Laughlin (9th hole) and D. Meehan (13th hole).

Due to the recent rain, there was no play on Saturday.

Many thanks also to those who have assisted in the demolition works at the backend of the clubrooms, which has been undertaken by club members.
