A SMALL group contested this event, with the winner Rowena Henry with 38 points ahead of Michelle Dillon and Meryl Cameron with 33 points.

Rowena also won the nearest the pin on Chino’s 9th hole.

R & R Stableford – Thursday, July 31

A GOOD field of 26 members and guests played and it was Brendan Shields that emerged as the winner with 37 points.

The ball pool went to K. Sambrooks, C.Wilkie and S.Dibsdale with 36 points and D. Meehan with 35 points on a countback.

The nearest the pins were won by K. Lane (3rd and 9th holes) and G. Maher (16th hole).

Monthly Medal Stroke – Saturday, August 2

ANOTHER good field of members saw 28 players compete for the monthly medal, with Sunny Spitty finishing as the ladies winner with 70.

The men’s winner was Chris Gray with 73, while the ball pool went to D. Henderson (71), C. Wilkie and G. Wyte (73) and S. Jenner and B. Gladman (74).

Captains split sixes went to B. Gladman and T. Laughlin with 60 points.

The nearest the pins were claimed by C. Manners (3rd hole), B. Gibson (5th hole), C. Wilkie (9th hole), T. Laughlin (13th hole) and L. Hadfield (16th hole).
