Ladies Stableford -Wednesday, August 13

ROSIE Laughlin was the winner with 37 points, followed by Jan Milne with 35 points and Michelle Dillon (33 points), Jill Marshall (32 points), Carol Dear (31 points).

Chino’s nearest the pin went to Michelle Dillon.

R & R Stableford – Thursday, August 14

WARMER weather brought out more golfers for today’s event, with 32 entrants taking part, with Tony Hall having a real day out after scoring 43 points and putting a dent in his handicap.

The ball pool went to J. Hewitt, G.W yte (37 points) and D. Meehan, S. Harry and B. McKnight (36 points).

Nearest the pins went to L. Hogg (3rd hole), D. Meehan (5th hole), B. Shields (9th and 16th holes) and a very close one for S. Harry (13th hole).

Stableford – Saturday, August 16

THE ladies winner was Karyl Hewitt with 38 points, while the men’s winner was Barry Gladman with 37 points.

The ball pool went to K. Lane (35 points), G. Wyte, G. Gin and J. Hewitt (34 points) and A. Free (32 points).

The nearest the pins were won by J. Apostolelis (3rd hole), J. Hewitt (9th hole), S. Harry (13th hole) and B. Gillingham (16th hole).

THE renovation works are in full swing, with the removal of the roof structure and the cement block outer walls.

Lots of work has been carried out by members and a very big thank you to those who have helped.

In the coming weeks some big changes will be taking place in relation to Golf Australia changing over from Golflink to Golf Connect, with the shutdown of Golflink set for October 2.
