WITH the pennant season starting Saturday, it’s time to get the tennis racquets out again and hope for dry courts and warm weather.
Cohuna have entered teams in division one, division three and a junior team.
With no draw available in time for publication and teams still being decided, players will be contacted during the week.
Any new players looking for a game can ring Mary on 5456 2384 or get in touch with another club member.
Play is due to start at 1.30pm and ball fees remain $5 or $2 for juniors who have played on Saturday morning. Please bring afternoon tea to share with the visiting team.
Saturday morning juniors will commence in the next couple of weeks with Jason and Harrison so stay tuned for this.
The club has spare racquets for juniors who would like to try tennis but don’t have a racquet, so they are most welcome to turn up Saturday mornings and give it a try.
The twilight tennis comp will begin on October 25 at 6pm.
Could anyone who is interested in playing twilight please get their names in to Mary on 5456 2384 as soon as possible as one bay of courts is to be refurbished and there will be limited numbers able to play.
