Cohuna

ON a nice day for tennis only two teams made it onto the court with the junior team receiving a forfeit from Kerang.

Division 1 played Kerang at home with both teams including fill-ins. Cohuna’s men had two good wins and lost a tiebreaker to be up 18 to 9 games.

The ladies won all their sets to be up 19 games to 9. The mixed sets were much closer with three sets all and Cohuna up 29 to 27 games and an overall win by 21 games.

Well done Mary who won all her sets. Thank you to Zephan and Peter for filling in.

Division 3 played Murrabit at Murrabit and had a fairly close match. The men only won one set to go down 36 to 23 games.

The ladies won four sets to be up 31 games to 25. The mixed was close with both teams winning two sets and Murrabit up 17 to 15 games to end up winning by nine games.

Thank you to Fredrico for filling in and well done Leah for winning all her sets.

Tennis will commence after the Christmas break on January 14.

Barham 18 lost to Murrabit Blue 36; Cohuna 20 won on forfeit from Kerang 0; Murrabit White 8 lost to Gunbower 36.
