Over the Net – Cohuna

A NICE day for tennis after the cool start and all teams at home for the first time this year.

In Division 1 the men were well up with 17 games to nine. The ladies were also up 20 games to 12. Murrabit came out on top in the mixed to be up 31 games to 22.

Cohuna won overall by seven games Thank you Rob and Zephan for filling in.

Division 3, after losing some close matches, had a win against Gunbower.

Gunbower won the men’s sets by one game 30 to 29. The Cohuna ladies once again won all their sets to be up 37 games to 11. Cohuna also did well in the mixed, winning three sets to be up 21 games to 11, and winning by 35 games.

Well done Leah, Dee, Taylor and Paul who won all their sets.

The junior team played Murrabit Blue and had a good win. Cohuna won four sets to two and by four games. Well done Sharon for winning all her sets.

Division 3 v has the bye

Juniors v Kerang (at Kerang): Charlie Hauser, Sharon Sajeev, Jackson Lacy, Toby Robe, (em) Jack Pollock, Archer Lacy

Saturday morning juniors has resumed, held at 9am for any children interested in trying tennis. The club has racquets available for anyone without one.

Memberships for all players are overdue. Only financial members are eligible to play finals.
