Cohuna

TWO Cohuna tennis teams made it to the first final on Saturday but both failed to get to the grand final.

Division 1 had a close match against Kerang but didn’t quite make it. The men struggled and went down 18 games to five. The ladies were up 14 to nine which put the team down eight games.

Cohuna turned it around in the mixed, winning five of the six sets and up 31 to 24 games, but ended up going down by one game. Well done Skye for winning all her sets and thank you Leah for filling in.

The juniors who finished fourth and played the top team Gunbower fought hard but went down 36 games to eight. Well done juniors you will be bigger and better next year.

Easter Tournament: We will be approaching all members to help in some way over Easter, in the kitchen, making sweets for Sunday night, making cakes and slices, etc. This is our main money raiser so please help where you can. You can now enter online if you wish to play.
