Down the Fairways

Kerang

WEDNESDAY was Stableford and the ladies had the honour of kicking off with the new golf computer program on Wednesday and by all accounts it worked very well with most using their mobiles to score!

Rhonda Willoughby was the day’s winner, scoring 37 points. Ball pool went to Chrissy Downs and Shirley Jenner with 36 each.

For Thursday’s R&R Stableford, after a couple of very minor hic-ups, all went well with the new system.

The day’s winner was Chris Waterson with 39 points, ball pool went to Terry Turvey and Col Wilkie, both on 36 points.

NTPs 3rd T Laughlin, 5th, 9th and16th all went to C Waterson, so if you run out of golf balls, call on Chris, a good deal can be done. On the 13th Gary Pay collected a ball and Doug Meehan has a new pen to help write out his scores.

At Saturday’s Stableford, a medium field went out with the threat of drizzle for the afternoon, but it fizzled out quickly.

Scott Harry had a good day winning on a countback from Kevin Lane with 36 points. Ball pool went to T Turvey and D Woods, 35 points each.

NTPs on the 3rd and 16th C Waterson, 5th K Lane, 9th D Wood and a visitor from Barham GC, Brett Whitman, got the 13th.

Thanks to our members for their patience during the installation and rollout of the MiScore App.
