THE final round of the Ladies Singles Championships for 2022 was held on Wednesday.

The A Grade champion was Olive Spitty, for the third time, with scores of 71+80=151.

Net winner was Jan Harry with 140.

The B Grade champion was Mabel Spitty with scores of 95+91=186.

Runner-up was Shirley Jenner with scores of 101+95=196.

The day’s winner with a score of 38 points was Chrissy Downs, runner-up was Mabel Spitty with 36 points. Ball pool went to Jan Harry and Michelle Dillon, both with 34 points.

R&R Stableford was on Thursday, with 20 members contesting the day’s event in near perfect conditions.

Winner was Ron Schultze with 38 points from K Sambrooks with 37 points. Ball pool went to W O’Neill and T Laughlin both with 36 points.

NTPs went to F Cianci on the 3rd, T Turvey on the 5th, D Meehan on the 9th and P Lloyd on the 13th, and once again nobody got the 16th.

On Saturday, 39 members entered the Stableford competition and Allan Free came out the winner with 37 points.

In the ladies Jenny Waterson had a good day scoring 35 points.

Ball pool saw C Gray 37, J Tartaglia 36, and G Teasdale, K Sambrooks and J Harry all on 35 points. Dave Conlan walked away with a new pen.

NTPs went to T Turvey on the 3rd, 5th went to W O’Neill, 9th went to D Meehan, 13th was R Delamare, with once again no one on the 16th.

Max and Gav Day is Tuesday, December 27 and Captain’s Day is January 2.
