The Gannawarra Times is Kerang and district's leading provider of local news and information.

It was first published on March 3, 2015 after sister publications, The Northern Times, based at Kerang, and the Cohuna Farmers’ Weekly were amalgamated to consolidate news coverage of the Shire of Gannawarra community.

Kerang’s first newspaper, the Kerang Times and Swan Hill Gazette, was first published in 1876, just 40 years after English explorer, Major Thomas Mitchell passed through this area of northern Victoria. The Cohuna Farmers’ Weekly had been published since 1922.

We are committed to providing ongoing wealth of relevant local news and information to our district community.
