THE highlight of the week was the winning of the Waverley Trophy by a Kerang Golf team at Avoca last Sunday.

Skipped by Jim McLeish, with Laurie Gray, Gary Borg and Sonia McLeish, this team defeated a Waverley team in the first game, then Cohuna Golf in the second, before recording their third win again
