Kerang Cubs hit the water

Kerang Cubs learn to canoe1st Kerang Cub Scouts joined Cubs from 1st Boort, 1st Lake Boga and 1st Swan Hill, at a district come and try canoeing day, held at Lake Boort recently.

A State Scouts Paddling Team, comprising of Keith McKenzie, Mick Guley, Brayden Mooney, Bianca Giley and Emmaleigh Norton, came and showed the local Cubs the basics of flat-water canoeing. They all had a great time.

The next event is the District Camp at Tree Tops Gunbower Island, for all District Joey’s, Cubs and Scouts.
