THE Victorian Government has responded to the final report of the inquiry into the October 2022 floods, with confirmation of a review of the Victorian Floodplain Management Strategy which will examine issues around rural levee management.

The Legislative Council's Environment and Planning Committee inquired into the state’s preparedness for and response to Victoria’s major flooding event.
