THIS wasn't the way it was meant to end for Kerang coach Troy Coates and his time at his beloved Blues.

After 223 senior games, nine premierships, including six as a coach, Coates has officially ended his time with Kerang following the Blues 54-point loss to Nyah Nyah West United in Saturday's Cent
