THE Easter holiday weekend brought some much-needed business to the Gannawarra shire after an abysmal 12 months.

Bower Tavern publican Jamie Williams said they were "inundated" in Cohuna.

"We did very well," Mr Williams said.

"There were plenty of people, a mixture of those travelling and locals, but it is usually mainly travellers for the long weekend."
