Gannawarra Council will investigate more childcare options in Cohuna after an agreement was reached at its April meeting.

Cr Keith Link said there was a "pressing" need for day care options, with some local residents saying the difficulties finding childcare limited their job options.

Cr Link said without options for their children, many jobseekers could not commit to positions in the region.
