GANNAWARRA Shire Council staff are saying challenges that recently emerged in the Kerang-Koondrook rail trail will require "careful consideration before proceeding".

Director of infrastructure and development Wade Williams responded to a letter sent to council by the Kerang Progress Association following the unpopular decision to shorten the planned 22km tour
