GENEROUS Mallee residents and visitors have dug deep to raise tens of thousands of dollars for sick children at The Royal Children's Hospital.

The region's fundraising helped the Good Friday Appeal smash a record $23,822,792.

The regional Victoria tally was $5.4 million.

Swan Hill raised $23,623, Nyah/Nyah West/Koraleigh $14,970, Manangatang $10,551, Wycheproof $4315 and Tooleybuc $4282.
