WORK to rejuvenate a 1.2-kilometre section of Pipers Road, Leitchville, will begin next Monday.
Improvements will occur along a section of the road between the Murray Valley Highway and south of Keely Station Road.
The works are anticipated to be completed by mid-June, with the road to be closed to general motorists during this period.
The council said local traffic, including residents and farming contractors, will still be able to access properties directly affected by the closure.
Motorists are encouraged to use nearby sealed roads, including Cohuna-Leitchville Road and the Murray Valley Highway, or the unsealed Randalls Road, during works.
