In 1943 it was a shiny new Ford truck destined to service the transport needs of the Koondrook and Kerang townships, it has now returned 80 years later as a restoration project for the teams at the Kerang Museum and the local Men’s Shed.

Going back to 1889, Kerang was a part of the Swan Hill Shire, and it was decided to run a tram track from Kerang to Koondrook. A second-hand carriage was purchased to service the line.
