A MODERATE flood warning has been issued for areas on the Murray River from Torrumbarry to Barham.

The river's flood peak passed Barham last week, when river levels reached 5.7m overnight last Wednesday.

The river was at 5.67 metres and falling on Monday, and is expected to remain above the minor flood level (5.5m) over the weekend into next week.
