A HERITAGE registered homestead on the shore of Lake Bael Bael near Kerang has received $300,000 through a new Victorian Government grants program.

The Bael Beal Homestead was a recipient of the first round of Disaster Recovery Heritage Grants for heritage sites damaged by floods, storms and bushfires.

The funds will go towards storm damage repairs.
