KOONDROOK Primary School has received state funding to prepare its grounds for bushfire season.

“A couple of years ago we were able to upgrade our ride-on lawn mower, which we wouldn’t have been able to do without the funding,” principal Amanda Bradford said.

“It has made the maintenance of long grass a lot easier.”
