GANNAWARRA Shire Council work on the Kangaroo Lake foreshore has progressed.

View Road, which provides access to the northern boat ramp, has reopened after a closure of seven weeks to allow the construction of extra vehicle, boat and trailer parking.

The work also involves the upgrading of the Mystic Park Road-Lake View Road intersection to provide access to larger vehicles and trailers.
