"IT'S been a pretty good ride."

That's the sentiments of this newspaper's editor on the cusp of his departure.

Gannawarra Times editor and manager, Ken Jenkins, who will retire from the job on Sunday after 48 and a half years with the newspaper formerly known as the Northern Times and before that, the Kerang New Times.

In addition, he has been editor of sister publication, the Loddon Times.
