LARGE interest could see more rare cruises on the PS Emmylou through the Torrumbarry Weir to Koondrook.

The majestic paddle steamer cruised downstream from the Echuca Wharf to Koondrook for the first time in 20 years last week.

The cruise was possible because the height of the Murray River at the moment allowed for navigation beyond Torrumbarry Weir.
