AFTER a deflating three years with the pandemic, border restrictions and 2022 floods, people were ready to pump up their inflatables and spirit for the Australia Day lilo race on the Murray River.
Hundreds flocked to the boat ramp at Koondrook to take part in the annual event, which raises money for Koondrook-Barham Football Netball Club.
With the water level dropping in the Murray, it was an ideal time to float at a pleasant speed to the finish line.
