AFTER a year of community consultation, Gannawarra Shire Council has unanimously approved the Kerang Active Recreation Corridor Masterplan.

The plan aims to significantly upgrade the town's sporting and recreational facilities.

The four main sites are Atkinson Park, Kerang Regional Park, Riverside Park Recreation Reserve and Sir John Gorton Library.
