MURRAY River Council has formed a new biosecurity team to manage invasive plants across the region.

The new initiative follows the wind up of the Central Murray Country Council, which previously delivered weed management to the former Murray.

Mayor Chris Bilkey said the team members had a lot of experience and expert knowledge.
