Police probe unattended campfire

Emergency services were called to a Cohuna campsite on April 13 following allegations an unattended campfire spread.

It’s alleged the River Track campsite was left unattended whilst the campers went fishing.

The matter is being investigated by Forest Fire Management Victoria.Unlawful damage

A rock was allegedly thrown at the window of a Cohuna home, causing it to break.

The incident occurred at a William Street property, around 10.30pm on April 11.Stolen vehicles

Police are investigating the theft of two stolen cars linked to the Murrabit township on Good Friday.

In the early hours of April 15 a VW sedan, reported stolen from the Deniliquin area, was found crashed at Murrabit West Road.

That same morning, between 2am and 5am, a 2019 silver Toyota Landcruiser dual cab ute was stolen from a property also located at Murrabit West Road.
