COOTAMUNDRA-raised mother of three Michelle Milthorpe says she's “hit the ground running” with her campaign to win the federal seat of Farrer.

Running as an Independent, Ms Milthorpe said her initial tour of the electorate had already highlighted “significant gaps in community representation” at a federal level.
